ARE YOU EX-FORCES OR A DEPENDANT ?

VETERANS SUPPORT Your Centre is open to provide impartial assistance
to ALL Ex-Services/Serving Personnel, Dependants and organisations to utilize
as a community;
the following FREE services are currently available to you all -
DROP IN CENTRE During opening hours, for individuals to come along and
discuss any problems or inquiries, on ANY subject.
We are in contact with a wide variety of Ex-Service
and Civilian Organisations who will be able to assist.
SEMINARS We have a wide variety of personnel and organisations
(Citizens Advice Bureau, War Pensions, etc.) that come along and give
presentations on useful subjects.
If you have a specific subject you would like us to cover
we will arrange it for you - just ask.
FREE NOTICE BOARD/NEWSLETTER We can offer your organisation
free 'advertising space' for any information you would like to be circulated
to ALL other Ex-Service organisations. Simply Fax/post or Email us the
information and we will do the rest.

The Veterans Support Centre is a focal point for Ex-Service personnel and
their dependants, with direct access to service and civilian organisations in
order to assist you in matters such as :-
*Employment *Financial *Available benefits & options *Training courses,
in fact we WILL assist however we can. So if you have a problem large or
small, a question, or would simply like some information or would like to
volunteer your acquired skills to help others, please contact us or feel free
to drop in, you will always be welcome.

SERVICES OFFERED INCLUDE:
*Use of the Internet for job search etc and the use of computers for CV writing.
*Database of Ex-Service organisations and associations.
* Links with training organisations - such as Kent Guidance Consortium
who provide training courses, SSAFA, Royal British Legion, and the
Regular Forces Employment Association.
*You don't have to have been in a war to claim a War Pension, so come to
one of our monthly War Pensions surgeries and find out more
*Teaching interview techniques and help with application forms for jobs
and relating service qualifications to their civilian equivalent.
*If you would like to involved and help others, then Volunteers are always welcome.
